new favourite breakfast

I'm late to the quinoa party, but I'm loving it now I'm here... and I'm stoked to discover that you can make it in the rice cooker. I soaked it overnight, then it took about twenty minutes in the cooker this morning. I added butter, a teeny drop of vanilla, chopped almonds and blueberries.

Definitely a winner. By the way, how CRAZY is the price of fresh blueberries!? The supermarket wants seven dollars for a half-punnet, yeesh! The frozen kind will do for the likes of us. Tomorrow I think I'll try it with shredded apple and cinnamon. 

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions on my last post. I know what to do now- after I've washed the dress in vinegar I'm sending it to Mary Nanna to look after in her magic wardrobe for a few weeks :o)

Same here - all the berries are riciculously expensive. Even on the markets!
